We just recently closed an eclipse doorway, and because of the nature of this eclipse, being so close to the nodes changing on January 18th, 2022, I've found that this time is extremely both reflective and also pensive, about the future.

*

The full moon lunar eclipse in Taurus was showing us some themes to expect, both in our own lives and in the world, what we need to release in order to open up to our new, grounded chapter, while this most recent new moon lunar eclipse in Sagittarius was having us wrap up aspects of our past so that we can step forward squeaky clean, clear and with grace into this next 18 month cycle. Great time to walk mindfully in the world, picking and choosing our battles.

*

There was also a grand sextile towards the beginning of the week which was lovely to start off with from Chiron in Aries, Mercury in Sagittarius and Saturn in Aquarius bringing us unexpected and perhaps a bit unconventional healing... a boost, a revelation, something that kinda came a little bit clumsily and out of left field that helped us in some foundational way.

*

Neptune also stationed direct last week which is an invitation from my perspective not to fall asleep or fall under any spell! We may have been disillusioned around something when Neptune stationed retrograde from June 25th until December 1st! I made an entire video about Neptune direct here, discussing the implications of this transit in historical terms.

Monday, December 6th, Mars in Scorpio will make a sextile aspect to Pluto in Capricorn, so this is a subtle opportunity to transform your relationship to power, to take power back from a situation and to reclaim your inner authority (Pluto in Capricorn is going to really dial this lesson home until we learn it ~ and the Pluto return for the US is next year and I would *really* love to see people catching onto this inner authority thing!)

On Tuesday, Mercury in Sagittarius is making a square to Neptune in Pisces... a tricky, short-term aspect that increases the chances of a miscommunication, a feeling of fog, a lack of clarity of something. I feel that we want to be very careful what exactly we're buying into... and in this video I discussed how we want to watch the stories we're telling ourselves with these aspects over this next week and a half. In both of the videos I have shared I discuss how Neptune in Pisces (2011 - 2026) is an entire story arc and that when planets come into other mutable signs to square or oppose Neptune, it creates this unrealistic tendency, an increased ability to fall for nonsense both micro and macro... but also an opportunity to ride the space between where we were and where we're going with personal gnosis and a spiritual connection.

So with this Mercury-Neptune square, it's great to get a bit of extra clarity if you're not sure, and to mind your mind... luckily, Venus is very close to Pluto in its shadow phase about to station retrograde, and Mars is in Scorpio as pillars assisting in keeping us both focused and realistic.

Tuesday the moon moves into the sign of Aquarius where we can get a perch to see things from a higher perspective, should we choose. The moon will come into a conjunction with Saturn which could freeze up our emotional well temporarily, which may not be a bad thing for those of us with many emotions ;) this can also have us taking a critical look into our future and increases our levels of focus. The moon will also square Uranus, which can bring in a bit of restlessness or fear on the shadow side, but innovation and unexpected moves on the positive end.

On Wednesday, Mars in Scorpio is making a square to Jupiter in Aquarius. When Mars, the planet of conflict, war, passion and action makes a square to open, expansive and jolly Jupiter... we can definitely overestimate our abilities, we can take HUGE risks... so just be careful with what you're entering into. Mind your motives with this square to ensure you're not taking a spontaneous risk from a shadowy aspect of yourself.

With regard to world events, just as an aside, I feel that this Mercury square Neptune, along with the Jupiter square Mars aspect, could be some pretty bizarre, unrealistic, theatrical messaging and narratives or some pretty shocking news that comes to the surface that riles a bunch of people up. Nothing is what it seems, in general and especially this week, so really good to stay focused on what YOU are wanting to create and bring through this world, because there's a lot of creativity that comes with this crazy astrology. :)

Thursday, the moon moves into Pisces and rest will be a high priority, especially with some of the solar flares that came through this weekend. The Mars-Jupiter square, exact Wednesday but still felt on Thursday, could have us burning all the candles at all the ends and so perhaps this is a day where we remember to take some rest, to chill out, to vibe.

At this present time, whenever the moon comes into Pisces (from now until 2030 haha) I would suggest amping up psychic and energetic protection both in waking time and dream time.

Saturday, Venus forms a conjunction to Pluto. This is pretty intense! Again, an opportunity to take our authority and power back especially with the way we view and handle both our romantic relationships and money.. I do anticipate that there could be some financial announcements or issues while Venus is sitting on Pluto, continuing into its retrograde from December 19th - January 30th. We may have to have faith, come together with the people around us who VALUE us, who are timeless for us, and I think in a way this Venus retrograde transit is going to be extremely clarifying for who exactly that is in our lives.

Venus on Pluto in Capricorn, nearby to the degree that Saturn and Pluto connected at the beginning of 2020, may cause us to make harsh decisions around love, relationships, our value, and really whatever house that Capricorn is in your chart... and I think this is a good thing because we can very clearly SEE what is wrong, what is overgrown, both in our lives and in the world. Not gonna lie, this feels pretty dense, but perhaps a necessary density so that we can really see "it" so that we can transform "it."

Mercury in Sagittarius is lightening the mood here though with a sextile to Jupiter in Aquarius, opening us to other possibilities and routes we hadn't yet considered, which is lovely and nice that this aspect is coinciding with the density of the Venus-Pluto conjunction because Mercury in Sagittarius and Jupiter in Aquarius both seem to have a sense of humor about the situation.

On Sunday, 12.12, the Sun is moving into a square aspect with Neptune in Pisces, and under this type of condition, we don't necessarily always see ourselves the most clearly. We also want to mind our motives under this kind of aspect to ensure we are acting from a morally upright place, and we want to make sure that our heads are screwed on straight! While this aspect can brilliantly open the door for creative or spiritual phenomena especially in these Jupiter-ruled signs, we can tend to be wholly unrealistic. I'm not sure we'll get very far with that with Venus on top of Pluto ~ perhaps that aspect could serve as a reality check ahead of time.

Hope that your week is fantastic! <3 Take care of yourself!
