Horoscope for the week of 10.22 - 10.28 || Scorpio season & full moon in Taurus

Hello there everyone! There are some planetary changes coming up next week that I'd really like everyone to be made aware of -

1) November 6th, the North & South Node will change signs. The North Node will move into the sign of Cancer and the South Node will move into Capricorn. This is really important because it shows where our collective consciousness is headed and what it's trying to stray away from. Over the coming week, I'll likely write a blog about this topic because it's something I'm very passionate about. The sign of Cancer represents the emotional realm, motherhood, nurturing and withdrawing into our shell. We'll be forced to look at our upbringing and how it contributed to how we express our emotions now. Issues of emotional labor (particularly among women) and the necessity of feeling our feelings so they don't spill over will both rise to the surface. In a South Node transit, we are made to see the traits and tendencies that we are encouraged to leave behind- the shadow traits of Capricorn will rise up to the surface and not just on a personal and interpersonal level. The shadow sign of Capricorn is power-hungry, extremely capitalistic, greedy and cold. Politically we've seen these traits for some as an eyesore and earsore and for some these traits have affected our day-to-day life. This transit will last from November 6th until May 5th, 2020 and I expect a lot of things to change in the institutional and political arenas during this time. Personally, I encourage everyone who is awake enough to pay attention to these pivotal transits to understand that our emotions are a very important barometer for how we're doing. If we are sensing a strongly negative emotion when we walk into a certain workplace, we probably shouldn't be there. If we feel fearful after hanging out with a particular person, it's likely that we shouldn't hang out with them anymore. We are able to use negative emotions and experience contrast. During this time, it's actually encouraged to make emotional decisions (after some processing has taken place). I'm offering 15 minute readings on how this will affect you personally - email me at meredithsluckystars@gmail.com!

2) On November 8th, Jupiter will move into Sagittarius until December 2nd, 2019. This is a really lucky transit for all because it allows us to tap into a really expansive and joyful energy even during the difficult transits and seasons we all may be experiencing on a collective and personal level. This is where it becomes okay to wander, following the stars until you reach something amazing you didn't even know you were headed for. I can promise that even if you have the constitution of "Winnie the Pooh"'s eeyore, you will feel a lighter, more positive energetic shift that allows you to look to the great beyond, feel safer and better about traveling, more curious about learning new things and more abundant in all areas of life. With Jupiter in Sagittarius (as well as any planetary energy ever lol) there is always enough to go around! I'm also offering consultations around this - e-mail meredithsluckystars@gmail.com to understand how this will affect your natal chart in particular.

Let us commence with our regularly scheduled programming shall we?

Monday, deep-diving Mercury in Scorpio will make a favorable sextile aspect to Pluto in Capricorn, indicating a potentially deep dive where we can take a good honest look at ourselves and our circumstances in a way that is safe and comfortable. This is a really great day for your therapy appointments and healing sessions as well as a great day to create change as the moon will move into the sign of Aries, a cardinal fire sign that likes to stir things up. We may be more active when the moon comes into Aries, more spontaneous, albeit a little bit more agitated with our tempers right up near the surface. (This means you, road ragers!)

Tuesday, the Sun will move into Scorpio, illuminating the darkness. The veil becomes thinner and thinner as we move closer to Halloween and Samhain in the pagan traditions, making it a great time to honor your ancestors and all of those who came before you. As the season grows colder, the urge to couple up, merge and share space in an intimate way grows larger. Our triggers are more easily accessed with Scorpio season making it a great time for deep souls work, unpacking our baggage box by box. As the Sun moves into Scorpio, it will oppose Uranus at 0 degrees Taurus, really shaking some things up in our environment. With this short-term transit, only felt strongly for 1-5 days, we can expect to feel a little anxious and the tendency to need to shift certain things as they come up is to be expected. There is also an unstable genius quality with this aspect as well, so be sure to keep a pad of paper and a pen around at any given time to be able to jot down any ideas you may have.

Wednesday is definitely the peak day of this week as the moon moves into Taurus and almost instantaneously comes into a full moon. The days before and after a full moon can be highly energetic and with Uranus right nearby, this moon will be electric and full of change. Welcome the changes that come even if you can't understand its purpose in the moment- everything has a place and I believe that everything happens for a reason. This full moon will be centering around issues of what is yours versus what is that of others and will stop at nothing to make sure there is a very established balance between giving and receiving. Venus moving retrograde in Scorpio reaching out in a beneficial way to Saturn in Capricorn makes this a really good day to review things in all of your relationships- those romantic, friendly and always most important- the relationship you have to yourself. Look over things to make sure that everything is even and reciprocal.

Also on Wednesday, the Sun in Scorpio will be squaring the North and South Nodes of the moon in Leo and Aquarius which is really interesting- it will momentarily create a fixed grand cross. Certain themes are hell-bound and determined to come up until we can learn the respective lesson. This lesson is releasing how we need things to be, letting go of the need to be right, releasing the need to have the last laugh, releasing overt attachment to everything we feel we need to be comfortable.

Friday, the Sun in Scorpio will come together with Venus in Scorpio as the moon moves out of the full moon phase just a little and begins to wane. Whenever this aspect is present it shows a brief need to be comfortable, perhaps lazy and leisurely and gives our relationships a boost. Even in the sign of Scorpio, this aspect will make us more playful and give us the ability to laugh at ourselves. Perhaps we'll be able to laugh at our darkness. Ha ha!

Saturday, the moon moves into Gemini indicating a racing mind for the weekend- we may be hurried in our efforts to finish up everything we need to finish up for the week or we may be carried away learning everything we can about a particular subject. I'm a big advocate for breathwork whenever the moon comes into Gemini as someone who is particularly prone to nervous energy. To take the mind off of the turning wheel of thoughts is really positive when the moon comes into the sign of the twins.
