Horoscope for the week of 8.28 - 9.3 || to stay asleep or to wake up? // to hold on or to let go?

Good evening starseeds! I have not been posting too much to facebook and instagram this week because sometimes it's really nice to sit back and experience the astrology that is happening. My personal astrology and energy levels this week have suggested I take a small break from posting so much. There's been a lot of changes looking back at this week- Venus has moved into Leo, indicating more fun and ease of expression in our love lives. Saturn moved direct in Sagittarius, indicating that there's forward movement centering practically around our belief systems, our visions, dreams and plans for our future. The Sun moved into Virgo, the season of harvesting and producing, just after a big, explosive and incredibly draining but moving new moon in Leo. The moon has been in Scorpio as we close out this weekend which has caused us to meet our darker sides, deal with uncomfortable emotions and thoughts, and found the wisdom to be gleaned there.

This week, one thing I'd like to call attention to is Neptune, a really slowly-orbiting outer planet that represents transcendence of the physical body, illusion, radical compassion, isolation, spirituality and escapism, moving backwards from the 13th degree to the 12th degree of Pisces, ruled by Neptune.

This is the 13th degree of Pisces (an excerpt from a book called Inside Degrees by Ellias Lonsdale).

PISCES 13 A woman imprisoned in a high tower. Sentenced to limbo, you are suspended from active participation in evolving worlds. Hung high and dry and massively resigned, following out an ancient fate to the end. Having operated insensitively, now being unable to do anything to anybody. You live infinitely alone, dreaming and drugged. Deep down inside, remembering everything dimly and darkly. Self-circumscribed and very deprived. You live on memories and the ripples of mute desire to move on, someday. Destined to transform this dread fate when the cycle is complete, you are until that time, vacuum-pressed and emotionally grief stricken, nostalgic and raging, while not getting across and being muffled all-pervasively.

- Seems as though we've been in a state of in-between-ness. We've been here before, from the 7th of April until the 15th of May. Think about what was going on for you at that time.

This is the 12th degree of Pisces:

PISCES 12 A woman asleep in a ring of flames. Drama, color, sound. Magnitude and shakings. You dream through it all in an enchantment which simultaneously protects and stifles. An ancestral power of suspended life-force held away, while great events surround and envelop you, yet do not penetrate. You experience a most unusual soul-disposition of deep sleep in the teeth of collective and ancestral events and experiences which are huge and never-ending. Is it a grace or a curse? It can be either. It becomes a grace if you awaken in ripe timing and move on from here. It can be a curse if you stay down under too long and miss the cue to stir and look around and discover that the future has dawned and the old ways have fallen away. Sleeper awake!

- So it seems that we are going from being in limbo to having a choice- we can wake up, or we can stay asleep. We were here from March 10th until April 7th. Pay attention to the things that come to you in a subtle way, through dreams or soft whispers from your higher Self. Don't be afraid to look at the things that need healing.

On Tuesday, the moon will move into Sagittarius. This is the first time that the moon has been in Sagittarius since Saturn went direct in this sign. When the moon comes into Sagittarius, the moon will cause our emotions to be more light-hearted, we'll be receptive and open to sharing and receiving the truth, but also a little more likely to feel our escapist tendencies come out. On Wednesday, the moon in Sagittarius will make its way on top of Saturn, which will give a major moment of sobering clarity, for better or for worse. One manifestation of this is seeing all that has not been done or looking at something you have been avoiding, or you may feel accomplished and proud of yourself for doing some important work. You may feel immense clarity around a person or a situation you had a hard time holding in a realistic light.

On Thursday, Mercury retrograde will re-enter Leo. This Mercury retrograde in Virgo has been very challenging for a lot of people in terms of work, processes and systems, but we may feel a hindrance, just until Mercury is done with its retrograde station on September 5th, around self-expression, creative expression and sexual expression. The light may appear to disappear (even when it's right inside us the whole time). Also on Thursday, the moon moves into Capricorn, adding an extra potential for possible depression or sluggishness. We may be very productive and future-oriented, but as the moon moves deeper into Capricorn and moves over Pluto on Friday, we have to make sure we're coming from a place of wise mind and not reacting to every emotion that courses through our body- there may be a lot of them, repressed ones, that come up and we just have to be gentle with ourselves and practice self-compassion during those times.

Also on Friday, Mars in Leo will make a quincunx aspect to Chiron in Pisces. A quincunx aspect is one that is 150 degrees geometrically where the two planets can't see each other from where they are in the celestial bodies. Chiron, the wounded healer, in Pisces, moving retrograde, indicates that there is some collective wounding that feels very personal right now. Of course there's a lot going on in the world, a lot of systems that are in the process of being dismantled as is the promise of Pluto in Capricorn, but we're not quite there yet. A lot of people are hurting and the collective is greatly wounded, which is why Chiron and Neptune are both retrograde prepared to make a giant healing sweep through the collective unconsciousness. However, Mars in Leo deals with the personal ego, will and drive. This is where "me and mine" becomes the focus instead of "we and ours." Be mindful and pay attention to any ego battles going on internally.

On Saturday, Mars in Leo will shine over to Uranus in Aries, indicating potentially impulsive action that takes us to whole new directions and places we never expected to go. This aspect could thrust us into uncharted waters. This is one of those transits that greatly depends on how each individual person, based on their natal charts and just generally their environment, upbringing and energetic composition, deals with change. If you love change and thrive on the new winds a-blowin', you'll sail right through this transit with grace and ease. However, if you are holding on, stuck or uninterested in change, the universe will move YOU.

Sunday is a day to watch what we say. We could be more combative than usual, easily misinterpret what another said and react instinctively or be too aggressive with our opinions. Listen to the people around you and understand what they are saying before you react and if possible, I urge you to speak with love and speak from the heart as Mercury retrograde in Leo moves over Mars in Leo. The moon moves into Aquarius which gives us a natural tendency to want to draw up and out of the emotions and into the mind where it isn't so messy. Unfortunately, life isn't always easy and it's important to also be able to process emotions. One thing that is cool about the moon entering Aquarius is our awareness of the future that is pure and unbiased enters the picture, so it's a great day to visualize what you want your path to hold.

Enjoy the week <3
