Greetings loved ones! I hope you are all having a great weekend so far. This week, Venus in Aries which really wants to be impulsive, be spontaneous and is forced to speak what it needs came up against squares against Saturn, the South Node of the Moon and Pluto in Capricorn. These aspects were challenging to our sense of worthiness and self-esteem, forced us to release what's making us feel inferior and caused us to have to alchemize the difficult insecurities and meet parts of ourselves as they came up.
Mercury made a conjunction to Uranus in Taurus which caused a spark of new and creative ideas to catapult down the connection line. A lot of us had previously been feeling stuck as the week before, Mercury followed the same difficult trajectory as Venus (the same story playing out in a different way). Mercury moved into Taurus and as it reached Uranus I noticed tons of new ideas and connections made mentally.
On Monday, the Sun in Taurus will positively aspect Pluto in Capricorn and the moon comes into Virgo. This makes a grand trine with Saturn, the South Node, Pluto, the Sun and the Moon. Grand trines in earth signs make things real and this grand trine energy will provide ease in commitment and showing up for activities and tasks in our daily life. Our emotions will be supportive- sure, we're having to make some challenging decisions right now and we're faced with some uncomfortable realities with the South Node, Saturn and Pluto orbiting so close to each other in Capricorn. We are breaking the bonds of duty and obligation. When the moon is in Virgo, this does tend to take an anxious twist mentally and takes on more than it can chew so it's good to be mindful of this.
On Tuesday, Venus in Aries reaches out in a positive way to Mars in Gemini which opens up fabulous possibilities for creativity and spontaneity. This is a good relationship aspect where we feel seen and heard for who we are so that's definitely something to look forward to!
Wednesday there are a lot of changes afoot! Venus, the planet of love, relationships and receiving moves into her home sign of Taurus- a sign that loves to luxuriate. Venus feels much more comfortable here than in Aries so we can anticipate some ease in our relationships- it's good not to get too comfortable so we don't wind up taking people for granted.
Mars moves into Cancer also on Wednesday, a sign that it could not feel less comfortable in. The tendency here is to slip into passive-aggressiveness, dropping subtle hints to those around us about our expectations while accruing resentments. It's a good idea to clearly articulate what you need during this transit, especially as in a few weeks Mars in Cancer will come up to bat against Saturn and Pluto in a different way than Mercury and Venus recently did. This is about making sure our energetic boundaries are really firm too, as pointed out by the awesome astrologer and founder of Astrology University, Tony Howard.
Mercury will move into a positive, healing sextile aspect with Neptune in Pisces, giving us a day filled with compassionate communication if we choose to activate this aspect. The moon will move into Libra as well which will bring out a very collaborative and social energy. Conflicts become challenging when the moon comes into Libra because the tendency there is to sweep things under the rug in favor of harmony of the group. I get that and I do believe that there are times for that, but don't neglect your truth during Taurus season for best results!
On Thursday, Mercury in Taurus makes a generous sextile to the North Node in Cancer and also makes a very beneficial trine to Saturn in Capricorn which gives us really positive focus and a glimpse into where things are going. The axis of Cancer/Capricorn is all about time, so we may have a greater awareness of the passing of time on Thursday. Time is such an illusion - it speeds up when we're engrossed in the flow of life and slows down when we're uninspired. We'll be more inspired on Thursday for sure, not to mention with Mercury positively aspecting Saturn we'll be able to sit, focus and deliberate for longer than usual.
On Friday, our emotions take a deeper dive as the moon moves into the sign of Scorpio, preparing to be full. Our emotional natures become a little darker, especially because this full moon could portend a big emotional release. This full moon that takes place on Saturday is about alchemizing emotion. Turning those things that have happened to us that have been unfortunate into gold by extracting the truth and wisdom from it and moving on twice the wiser. Know that we will integrate or incorporate a forgotten piece of ourselves on Friday as the moon waxes and Saturday during the full moon in Scorpio.
Not to mention that on Saturday, Mercury in Taurus will be positively aspecting Pluto in Capricorn which gives us the ability to be probing, to ask the tough questions about what is really real and what we really want to create. This is definitely a foundation-shifting weekend because Venus in Taurus will conjunct Uranus, outer planet that represents changes on a personal and collective level, on the SAME DAY as the full moon!! This is a great day to ask the fundamental question, "Do I deem myself worthy?"
Since Venus does have to do with relationships, there are any number of possibilities that could arise. If you're single, you could meet someone that surprises your whole life. You could make an important realization about yourself as it relates to your attachment style in relationships. If you're partnered, maybe you've been experiencing quantum growth in your partnership like I have and this accelerates that even more or maybe you decide that you are worthy of a love that treats you better. All realms of possibility are available to us on this big and exciting full moon day. We may have a hard time sleeping and people may be irritable but I have a good feeling about this day.
By Sunday, the full moon from the deep well of Scorpio and all of the emotions and reactions that provides will have moved off as the moon comes into Sagittarius which brings in an optimistic and humorous energy.
