Greetings loved ones! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend. It seems like each week, there have been a lot of planetary changes and a lot to integrate. Last week, Neptune stationed direct causing us to re-connect to our intuition and dreams, but also potentially increasing our attachment to our rose-colored glasses. We also had a full moon in Gemini really centering around what we're thinking and what stimulation we're taking in from our environment and the Sun moved into Sagittarius which is when we move in a curious, optimistic direction.
As we move into December and as I write my December horoscopes for each sign, I'm noticing a high concentration of squares from Sagittarius to Pisces. The Sun, Mercury and Jupiter are moving through Sagittarius- these are more optimistic and more outward energies. Chiron, Neptune and Mars are moving through Pisces which frankly is really destabilizing the collective, the in-between, the unseen. It's destabilizing and truly healing honestly. You can look at where Sagittarius and Pisces are in your chart and just understand that those houses will be experiencing some upheaval, some change and some push-pull in those parts of life.
Monday (today) is a Sun-Jupiter day! In Sagittarius, which Jupiter rules- Jupiter is at home in Sagittarius and feels really good there. This is a very optimistic, happy-go-lucky day - this can actually help us to attract some new opportunities and really see the bright side of whatever it is that we're experiencing.
Mercury rx in Sagittarius will be making a square aspect to Mars in Pisces which does open the door to misunderstandings and miscommunications- we may glaze over some of the details and so if that is your natural tendency, making lists could be a really good thing to try. Ultimately, the Sun-Jupiter conjunction will be overpoweringly positive so there's really no need to let this aspect scare you- just be a bit more careful in your communications today- try to understand what your motives are behind what you are saying. Sometimes, I can tell when I really want to assert my opinion as fact or when I compulsively need to share my side of whatever story, I notice it's my ego talking. It takes connection to Spirit to remain quiet during those times, something that Sagittarius and Pisces both have in common naturally.
Tuesday, the Sun comes into a conjunction with Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius and then later on, Mercury conjuncts Jupiter in Sagittarius. Our minds, our ego and our hearts will be filled with warmth despite the propensity to overlook things and to be a little bit grandiose under this kind of planetary alignment. We'll feel connected to everything- and if this were the only aspect on Tuesday, I'd say "we'll feel connected to everything except reality" only we have Mars in Pisces making a sextile aspect to Saturn in Capricorn which will really posit our actions toward the realistic good in the long-term. The moon is in Leo which will enliven us and make us joyful, creative and heart-centered- potentially a little firey which is never a bad thing - the moon will make positive aspects over to the Sun, Jupiter and Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius which will add emotional support to this really happy-go-lucky alignment- never a bad thing!
On Wednesday, Venus in Libra will be making a square aspect to the North Node in Cancer. Venus in Libra prefers things to be light and pleasurable, and in reality, lightness is accompanied by darkness and pleasure is accompanied by pain. The North Node in Cancer is actually calling for us to embrace the messy in between, so look to your own natal chart and your own tendencies for your preferences.
Thursday, the moon is coming into Virgo which will add a dose of mental energy to the cosmic background. We may become preoccupied with what we have to do and where we have to go- by the end of the work week, that's not a bad thing, as long as we don't allow those stressers of daily life consume us and overtake our sense of peace. \
Friday, Venus in Libra forms an opposition to Uranus retrograde in Aries. This highlights the pervasive codependency that runs in our society. Venus in Libra is very happy to focus on other people, but it's what is inside right now that needs our attention the most during this season. This is what Uranus retrograde in Aries is moving us toward, checking in with ourselves and seeing what is needed and what doesn't serve us anymore. There may be some surprising circumstances that come up in our relationships as well.
Saturday, Mercury retrograde enters Scorpio while the moon comes into Libra. Mercury in Scorpio wants to talk about the deep inner, tends to go right to the point about it as well. There is no small talk, there's just internal and external probing and assessing. The trick with this retrograde station of Mercury is to not allow your ability to go right for whatever answer you're seeking from others- be mindful of the sensitivity of other people.
While the moon is in Libra, this is a time where we may be more motivated to socialize, depending on our tendencies we may want to keep it light and happy. This is a very creative moon placement as well so you can expect some inspiration to create something beautiful.
Sunday, Venus re-enters the sign of Scorpio after taking a retrograde station back through the sign of Libra. Venus in Scorpio is where our relationship to our partners and friends has the possibility of becoming possessive or fixated. It's important to remember non-attachment with this transit of Venus. Mercury retrograde in Scorpio forms a beautiful and healing grand water trine with the North Node in Cancer and Chiron in Pisces. This opens up the door for major healing on all levels- personal, interpersonal and collective.
The Sun in Sagittarius will form a square to Mars in Pisces as well on Sunday - this is definitely the Sunday pitfall. Here we have on one hand, an amazing potential for healing and self-discovery that the grand water trine brings. On the other hand, we have the aspect between the Sun and Mars which could bring in ego battles and power displays and conflicts- the kind that don't really make a lot of sense. To me, this sounds like a choice point- you decide what you want out of Sunday.
