Horoscope for the week of 8.27 - 9.2 || mars is finally direct!

Greetings loved ones! Leo season was pretty topsy-turvy for the majority of people due to the residual eclipses, retrogrades and the fixed grand cross. This looks like change and the unexpected in a climate where we're all resistant to change. "Change" was very much the climate of the times (and still is) with Virgo season being a very welcome respite from the hectic energy that was at play.
We start off the week with Mars moving direct after a big, beautiful full moon in Pisces with a grand trine in Earth (Saturn in Capricorn, Uranus in Taurus and the Sun in Virgo). This is some seriously stabilizing energy and a lot of healing brought with it. The combination made for instant manifestation and a really good, clarifying resolve to the happenings of the past few weeks.
Mars direct will be very activating - our activities, the stuff we do to put food in our bellies, not to mention our libido will all be back on line. No more waiting, no more delays in regards to acting. The thing to keep in mind is that we still have Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and Chiron in a retrograde station. This means that some changes are taking place in the periphery, in our subconscious mind and in our lives that are super important, but won't disrupt every day motion as much as Mercury and Mars being retrograde.
On Tuesday, Mercury in Leo will be making a square aspect to Jupiter in Scorpio. There may be some darker aspects of ourselves still left to be unraveled and dealt with that we are avoiding looking at because of our tendencies to want to look on the bright side. This is the best time in years and years to peel back the layers of the onion- so do it!
On Wednesday, the moon will move into Aries. We'll be concerned with starting projects we haven't been able to start and making changes to our lives that we haven't been able to make. This is a really good time for following those spontaneous urges that we get- the instincts become heightened when the moon comes into Aries.
On Friday, the moon moves into Taurus which is where we feel the pull into the senses and the connection to the ground. This is where on a sensory level we feel compelled towards the good food, hot tea, wine if it's your fancy. This is a really good time with the Sun in Virgo to pay attention to the cellular experience of how certain foods affect your body and where to go with that so that you can fuel the life you lead with what you eat. It's definitely on my list for this week.
On Sunday, the moon moves into Gemini and the combination of the Sun in Virgo with the moon in Gemini is certainly an anxious one. This is a day where we should be aware of where exactly our thoughts go and see where they're leading. If they lead you down a path that feels negative or worrying, just know that this configuration will move off in just a few days and that won't be the case for long.
