Greetings earthlings and starseeds alike! Hope you are all doing well after this dreamy new moon in Pisces. This week was extremely busy for me- I moved into my partners house- so I didn't have time to post a blog last week and for that I am very sorry! I can't wait to talk to you about the astrology for the week ahead.
Monday is the very last day before Aries season. These last few days of Pisces season can get rather foggy and illusory, in which case it's in our best interest to be in a state of acceptance with the transient nature of everything. This is a major period of change for everyone so just being gentle with yourself on Monday and not expecting a whole lot of productivity from yourself and also not expecting anything from the day so that you can be presently surprised by what it brings.
On Tuesday, Aries season begins!!! This is super exciting and I have been waiting for this for a long time. Mercury is moving into a retrograde station on Thursday and is in shadow so my best recommendation for this day is to do some research first and to double and triple check and then ACT! Hit the ground running with those new intentions and new birth to what you want to create this next zodiacal year. Mercury and Venus are in conjunction in Aries which shows a very favorable day for communication and positive relating. The moon moves into Taurus so this is a great day to eat a meal with your loved ones and also to do something that allows you to get in your body. Mark Tuesday down as a great first day of the astrological calendar.
On Thursday, Mercury moves into retrograde station in Aries and the moon is moving into Gemini. This brings the Four Agreements book to my mind and one of the agreements is "being impeccable with your word." Thursday opens up the door for miscommunication and projection in communications- Mercury moving retrograde in Aries looks like putting our foot in our mouth, speaking out of turn and not thinking before we speak. Thursday is a day for intentional communication. Be mindful during this Mercury retrograde station of impatience. The astrology literature always speaks on Mercury retrograde throwing our technology out-of-whack and in this case it's true but only if you are approaching your technology with the stress that you're carrying around with you. Before you start your car, before you start your computer, before you touch your phone, take a deep breath and move through your operation of your technologies with intention. Specific to Thursday and Friday, the moon in Gemini will make us want to communicate our feelings and may make us a little more internally busy than we have been otherwise. Thursday is a day to write everything down. Take your pen to paper and get those feelings and impulses out to achieve a little bit more peace for some transits that may be more difficult to transcend.
On Friday, loving and pleasurable planet Venus in Aries is making a square aspect to planet of death and rebirth Pluto in Capricorn. This aspect is all about transformation in our relationships, which can take multiple forms. On the high side, this aspect can show that we are breaking down walls in our relationships with our partner or on our own in the way that we relate to others. We aren't monks in a cave and we are in this world to interact with other people! The one thing that I love about the sign of Aries is that there can be an insatiable curiosity attached to it, so take that into your interactions on Friday to avoid the low side of this aspect, which can look like a whole headache of projection or falling prey to old habits, patterns and attachments.
On Saturday, tempers may flare with the firey Sun in Aries and Mars in Capricorn making a square aspect. This is a direct pull between what you have to do and what you want to do. The Sun in Aries can be selfish (in a good way)- if you've ever tried to get someone with a lot of Aries energy to do something that they don't want to do, then you know just how hard that Aries drive and instinct can be. Mars is asking us to be mindful of what we have to get done. My best advice is to carve out space for both, with a preference towards what you want to do because the North Node is in Leo and we're all collectively being encouraged to let out heart lead.
Also on Saturday, the moon will move into Cancer which is a really good time to rest, relax and also spend time with those you love and trust. This is a really good time for pouring a nice cup of tea, eating a delicious meal and getting still. We may feel our emotions cycle much in the same way that the moon cycles and with the Sun-Mars square, it's a great day to be gentle with ourselves and forgive ourselves for any anger or aggression that comes up.
