Horoscope for the week of 10.23 - 10.29 || Scorpio season // shadow work vs covering up the things w

Hello there! Hope you folks have had an awesome weekend. The moon has been moved through Scorpio as we embark upon Scorpio season, intensifying deep realizations, intuitions and things that we bury coming up to the surface for us to look at and work with. This week is incredibly Scorpio dense and loaded with aspects from certain planets to Pluto. Scorpio and Plutonic energy can be rather fated, karmic, deeply emotional and intuitive. This is a deep dive into the soul that can come through hardship and adversity. Afterwards, if we remain humble and are learning, this will leave us feeling like we have more wisdom and increased understanding. If we feel arrogant or we have nothing else to learn, we will be left feeling disillusioned or as though we are drowning in deep waters.
Saturn is in full swing ahead, moving from the 23rd degree of Sagittarius to the 24th degree of Sagittarius. The following is an excerpt from the book Inside Degrees by Ellias Lonsdale on these degrees:
SAGITTARIUS 23 A woman wearing many tiny bells. Methodology, technique, the how of things. Immersing yourself in the field of new ideas, fresh approaches, and innovative paths, imaginatively and energetically. Exposing yourself to possibilities, visions, ways to evolve. The body's wisdom musically in touch and in tune, sensing the resonance of cellular awakening. Eager and enthusiastic and bright, you have given over to the process. Always in midstream. Seizing upon opportunities, challenges, openings. Needing to know just how it feels at the micro levels. What is it like to be free, to be joyous, to be unrestricted, here in the body, in the world? You seek the full-on motivating spark of knowing what it feels like to be tuned out and discovering what it really means to be tuned in all the way.
SAGITTARIUS 24 A statue of Isis covered by a transparent veil. The one who lives inside is awash in colors, tones, and symbolic ritual displays of an extraordinarily precise attunement to the heart and soul of ancient wisdom. You are suspended in a long-ago time. So much of your being is still back there. The evolution of the world since the ancient times is neither acknowledged nor accommodated in any way. It all depends upon whether this exquisite gift of soul remembrance is honored or exploited. If it is exploited, which is so very tempting, the life empties out of meaning and value and becomes false and repulsive. If it is honored, the expanded faculties on tap become revitalized and find a fresh relevance. As the Divine Feminine reveals what we need to know and draws us to our utmost capacity, it is with an unfallen grace of sensing directly into the deepest parts of people and all they can become in the ancient future just ahead.
- This movement into Scorpio season serves to be a soul understanding. The 23rd degree of Sagittarius is taking the lightness of Libra season and acquiring it while the 24th degree of Sagittarius asks us to plunge a little bit to be able to remember our soul. Our tendency as a masculine society is to deny the Divine Feminine within all of us, pushing down the feelings that arise and denying their presence altogether. This degree of Sagittarius asks us to pay attention to what comes up for us emotionally.
This is an excerpt from the same book regarding the 16th and 17th degree of Pluto:
CAPRICORN 16 Dinosaur bones discovered while digging. Purpose marks the spot. A mixed-up approach. Fusing together components that do not match. Doggedly pursuing straight intent, yet you're wide open, unwittingly, to whatever will show you a different picture. Tremendous karmic backlog. Oppressive and detailed. The soul's record kept strictly in mind--there's no freedom here. The future does not dawn. However, redemptive hard work is immensely powerful, harnessed as what must be done to achieve a goal you've barely glimpsed. Something great is possible if all assumptions are cast away and the direct evidence of deep experience becomes centrally there.
CAPRICORN 17 A gold ring baked into a cake. Initiation is a secretive affair. It calls forth discernment and offers immense awakening. It is a narrow path, stern and demanding. Everything proves illusory. The world becomes an empty egg. Yet the guiding ray is so pure. And if the tests are passed, exquisite self-realization is there. A reminder of what you've forgotten. A vow or promise reinstated. Something neglected and denied returning in the most startling ways. A fatelike feeling of get-it-now or get-it-later. No fruitions in the outer, yet all is bright on the inner.
- Scorpio season is a more receptive time where we are called to do work on ourselves internally instead of making major leaps and bounds in our external world, so this degree change is almost perfect because it forces us to accept that we may not see the outer manifestations of our work quite yet. One thing I don't think a lot of people accept is that the condition of our internal world is just as important as the condition of our external world and optimally they are feeding each other.
On Monday (today) the Sun moves into Scorpio! The Sun is like a flashlight and serves to illuminate whatever sign and house it moves into. This movement of the Sun into Scorpio serves to light up our darkness and also poses an opportunity to merge intimately if it is safe to do so. Pay attention to your intuitions and your right-brained musings, especially when it comes to people you are relating with. Scorpio can smell a rat from several miles away, so pay attention to folks who don't seem quite right. The moon moves into Sagittarius today which allows for some levity and humor to enter the picture for the next few days while our layers are being sifted through.
Tuesday is a great day for imagination and spiritual activities as Mercury in Scorpio, which is objectively probing the deeper thoughts and emotions of ourselves and others, will be making a trine to Neptune in Pisces, our creative and spiritual connection to the collective unconscious mind. We may be more susceptible to the thoughts, feelings and ideas of others and may be tempted to take them on as our own, so the need for spiritual protection is there. If you're protected and grounding, this can be an awesome time to dig into any kind of personal growth work, counseling, meditation or creative pursuits.
On Wednesday, the moon moves into Capricorn. Sometimes Capricorn in the sign of the moon can get a little bit lethargic or depressed, and so laying down a foundation of roots in the earth can help increase our energy level. This is a great day to get outside in nature and to try to release the felt burden of time. Moon in Capricorn can become preoccupied with the responsibilities, bills, achievements, the "shoulds" and the "have-to's" and because we'll be right in the middle of a rather emotional week, we have to remember that it's okay to take off that cap, even if it's just for a fifteen minute break during the day or the ability to let work go when you get home.
The Sun and Jupiter are going to be meeting up in Scorpio on Thursday on the same day that the moon in Capricorn will cross over Pluto in Capricorn. This creates boundless possibility in our abilities to heal ourselves real time. There could be a purge in the days before and after Thursday where we want to free ourselves of certain things that don't serve, so Thursday looks like the felt experience of freedom from those. If we're wise, we'll put on the "don't take everything too seriously" cap and embrace the absurdity of everything that is, was and shall be.
On Friday, our relationships may come to the forefront. If there's anything that you've been shady about or keeping from the folks you are in relationship with, there's a good chance it will be brought up to the surface. If you've been aboveboard and loving in your relationships, you will feel affirmed on a soul level and the stuff of love, friendship and family will feel fated in a good way. Be watchful for reactivity and keep your ego in check and this day will go by just fine as Venus in Libra finds a square aspect to Pluto while Mercury in Scorpio blesses it with the truth.
We'll finish out the weekend with the moon in Aquarius, bringing in a bigger picture and giving us some much needed comic relief as things feel heavier during the week. The moon in Aquarius is social and loves to learn, so plunging into the subjects you've had your eye on is a great way to honor both the Scorpio within you and the Aquarius within you. Try not to let your intellectual perspective undermine your emotional side, as we so often do.
