Hello there darlings! I hope your weekend is treating you like a gentleman. During the week, the North Node moved into Leo encouraging us to focus on what makes our heart sing regardless of what others have to say about it. Sometimes there is a method to following the way things feel and leaning into the relationships and the environments that allow you to self-express. This North Node is setting us up for a weekend with some manifestation power as Saturn is on top of the moon at 26 Sagittarius, on top of the Galactic Center, all making a grand trine with Mercury and Uranus in Aries. We'll be coming into the week of May 15th a little lighter, especially after we released some stuff that wasn't serving us during the Scorpio full moon. If you cried your eyes out, you did it right.
Mercury and Venus both leave their shadow phases from their recent retrograde station, which means that matters involving communications, contracts, purchases, cars, love relationships, friendships, romance, pleasure and money get the green light. Jupiter continues retrograde in Libra during a time where we are very much focused on carving out a space for our individuality, indicating that if someone can't handle us exactly as we are, they get the boot (or they'll just leave). Saturn moving retrograde in Sagittarius is on the Galactic Center at 26 degrees. The following is an excerpt from the book "Inside Degrees" by Elias Longsdale regarding the 26 degree of Sag:
SAGITTARIUS 26 Climbing the steps of the pyramid of the sun. Classical Maya civilization reenacted in fresh forms. Always having the Greater Sun beating down, always aware of the vaster picture. This means that our higher Selves are working for us right now. Saturn has already been here once before its retrograde station and will come over it again after it turns direct in a few months. It's important to stay connected to the signs and synchronicities in your environment as well as gut feelings and dreams, because there will be times where you are very much awake any time the Galactic Center is involved.
Pluto continues to move retrograde in Capricorn, allowing us to think about our relationship to power. It's important to maintain a level of spiritual integrity as Pluto moves backwards in Capricorn and Saturn is moving backwards in Sagittarius. Both Sagittarius and Capricorn archetypally "know too much."
On Tuesday, May 16th, Mercury re-enters Taurus after its retrograde motion through Aries. Mercury in Taurus is all about using deliberate, fair speech, creativity and our value. The Moon will be conjunct Pluto in Capricorn, so this may be a day where our emotions run deep. Capricorn is a very achievement oriented sign, so there is a possibility that your work and how much you gain from it, not just monetarily, is on the brain. Pluto with the Moon can cause emotions to bubble over, so make sure that you articulate things clearly and purposefully today as any Mercury in Taurus person would do. Allow the planetary energy to work for you, rather than against you.
Wednesday, May 17th is an interesting day where there may be some discrepancies or dissonance between our ego and our practical mind, where we find luck and where we confuse ourselves. The Sun in Taurus and Saturn in Sagittarius as well as Jupiter in Libra and Neptune in Pisces will be making quincunx aspects, which is an aspect of 150 degrees that interferes with these planets and luminaries seeing each other. The Sun in Taurus wants to follow a more material route to happiness while Saturn in Sagittarius in a way has been calling for us to release our grip on material possessions. Jupiter in Libra wants to spend time with loved ones and be endlessly comforted by their presence, but Neptune in Pisces as a long-term influence has us feeling more like we want to be alone so that we can connect to everything beyond. The Moon is also going to move into Aquarius, giving us a more detached perspective emotionally. No one can tell you how to spend your day today, this requires looking inside yourself and using that inquiry to then decide what you do and how you act.
On Thursday, May 18th, the Sun in Taurus will be making a gentle sextile aspect to Chiron in Pisces. This is a day where it is really good to connect to nature and to the divine to help sort through some internal wounds. Do something that involves releasing tension in your body, quiet the mind and see where you could use a little bit of healing. The Moon in Aquarius will be with the South Node, so be sure that you aren't acting out of a place of asleep-ness and you look at things from the past that you still have to let go of. A great day to get a massage or reiki, to spend time with children (little lightbearers) and to allow yourself to receive.
Friday things get a little busy! Mars in Gemini will be making a quincunx aspect (anyone else noticing a pattern?) with Pluto in Capricorn. It's possible to get thrown off our path today with obstacles, especially if we are trying to do too much. Mars in Gemini is really causing us to want to scatter ourselves about in different ways and Pluto in Capricorn really requires we be deliberate and steady in our efforts so that we don't make any careless errors or have any needless accidents. The Sun in Taurus will be making a contentious square aspect to the North Node in Leo, which means that we may be balancing all of these different Mars in Gemini projects to receive more money, and in doing this we may be shutting our heart off. If you can help it, at work or at play, connect to your heart. You will hear me or see me say this a million and one times in the next year and a half for a reason, connect to your heart and all will fall into place.
Also on Friday, Venus in Aries will be opposing Jupiter in Libra. Venus is a relationship-oriented planet and Aries is a self-oriented sign, so this is going to be an interesting day for relationships and relating. This is a day to set your own terms, make your own boundaries and make decisions for yourself and what is best for you, not necessarily to move wherever the tide brings you romantically. The Moon will move into Pisces, so that may be the natural tendency. It is fine to allow yourself to unravel on your own and to even show that to another person, but what is not going to be fine is leading someone on or not properly communicating where you are with those around you.
On Saturday, May 20th, the Sun will move into Gemini! Hug all of the Gemini's that are close to you and know that if you ever hate a Gemini dense person it's because they are reflecting what you hate about yourself. Gemini's get the most flack and I'd just like to set the record straight on that. Gemini season is a time to get out of your house, go into your neighborhood and have conversations with those around you. To ask them questions and remember what they tell you and then bring it up the next time they see you. It's a great time to work on learning new subjects and writing everything down. The Moon will pass over Chiron today, so if you need a good cry, take it.
On Sunday, May 21, be sure that what you are feeling is really authentic and coming from a real source rather than a delusional thought process as the Neptune-ruled moon in Pisces comes over Neptune.
